Application Reference: Job Application | Remote Part-Time | Junior Social Media Manager via Flume Invites website

Role Summary

As a Junior Remote Social Media Manager at Flume Invites, you will be responsible for overseeing our social media presence across all major platforms. This means planning campaigns, creating engaging content, analysing performance metrics, setting up automated responses, and actively engaging with our audience.

Because this is a 100% remote role driving our public brand image, high energy, accountability, and consistency are non-negotiable. We do not sugarcoat our expectations. Read the criteria below carefully before applying.

Who Should NOT Apply
Save your time and ours—do not apply if:

  • You treat social media as just scrolling: Posting isn’t enough. If you don’t understand metrics, analytics, and strategy, or hate tracking performance data, this is not the right fit.
  • You hate being held accountable: We expect scheduled posts to go out on time, campaigns to be monitored, and tasks to be completed. If you dislike structured targets or feedback, do not apply.
  • You are a silent worker who hides when stuck: Since this role is remote, we cannot read your mind. If you run into creative blocks or technical glitches and stay silent instead of voicing it immediately, you will not succeed here.
  • You dislike replying to comments or DMs: Engagement is key. If setting up auto-responses, monitoring inquiries, and answering potential clients feels tedious or annoying to you, do not apply.
  • You lack discipline or need constant micromanagement: If you can’t manage your time, plan content weeks in advance, or keep track of your tasks on tools like Asana, Monday, or Notion, this role is not for you.
  • This is “just a job to pay the bills”: If you aren’t passionate about digital trends, creative content, and brand building, save your application for somewhere else.

Who SHOULD Apply
We want to hear from you if:

  • You are obsessed with staying ahead of trends: You live on TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest, continuously analysing what works, listening to industry podcasts, and bringing fresh creative ideas to the table.
  • You take pride in aesthetics and copy: You know how to craft visually appealing content and write compelling, error-free copy that converts followers into customers.
  • You speak up and ask questions: If you are unsure about a brief or need clarity, you voice it right away so we can keep moving forward together.
  • You are hungry to learn and grow long-term: You see this as an opportunity to build a high-performing social footprint Flume Invites.
  • You are organised and proactive: You plan content calendars in advance and comfortably use tools like Meta Business Suite, Canva, Adobe, and project tools.
  • Reliable remote set-up – You have your own tech, a quiet space to work, reliable internet and have backup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Campaigns: Develop, schedule, and execute engaging social media campaigns aligned with customer expectations and historical data.
  • Content Creation & Management: Update and maintain consistent, high-quality content across all active brand platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.).
  • Community Engagement: Set up automated response workflows, monitor incoming DMs/inquiries, and actively respond to comments in a timely, brand-aligned manner.
  • Analytics & Optimisation: Monitor campaign performance using tools like Meta Business Suite and TikTok Studio to optimise strategy based on real metrics.
  • Trend Awareness: Keep a pulse on emerging digital marketing trends and platform algorithm updates.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear, proactive communication with team members and management on project status and performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a Junior Social Media Manager or similar role.

Role Summary

As a Virtual Assistant at Flume Invites, you will provide administrative support across our organisation—managing schedules, spot opportunities, arranging appointments, handling correspondence, driving follow-ups, and serving as a liaison between internal and external partners.

Because this is a remote role, clear, direct communication and self-discipline are non-negotiable. We do not sugarcoat our expectations. Read the criteria below carefully before submitting an application.

  • You hate being held accountable: We track outcomes, set deadlines, and hold our team to high standards. If taking ownership bothers you, this is not the right fit.
  • You are not a strong communicator: This role is 100% remote. We cannot read your mind. If you are struggling, feeling lost, or hitting a roadblock and stay silent instead of voicing it immediately, you will fail in this role. Feedback flows both ways here.

  • You see yourself here long term: You aren’t looking for a quick temporary gig; you want to grow alongside a fast-scaling brand.
  • You submit daily feedback: You have no problem providing a quick daily sign-off report before logging off so everyone stays aligned.
  • You are organised and tech-savvy: You comfortably navigate Google Workspace and task management tools like Asana, Monday.com, or Notion.
  • Reliable remote set-up – You have your own tech, a quiet space to work, reliable internet and have backup.
